Five years after her last solo album, 2015's Reality Show, Jazmine Sullivan is back with a new single, "Lost One," an arid and stripped-back meditation on a love gone by. “‘Lost One’ is about being careless with someone's heart and having to live in regret from losing them," Sullivan wrote in a press release. "Loss is all around us, and it's important to cherish the people you love before it's too late."
In an Instagram post, Sullivan confirmed that a new EP is on the way, writing " I know 'Lost One' is hella stripped n short. It just felt like the most appropriate offering from the EP considering everything that’s happening these days." More on that later, but for now, hear the gorgeous new track for yourself below.
