A release date for Chemtrails Over the Country Club is currently unknown. It will be the follow-up to Del Rey's 2019 album Norman Fucking Rockwell!. This July she released an audiobook version of her poetry collection Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass. The audiobook included music by her regular collaborator Jack Antonoff, who also produced “Let Me Love You Like a Woman.”
Since releasing Norman Fucking Rockwell! Del Rey has collaborated with Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande on Charlie’s Angels song “Don’t Call Me Angel" and, more recently, with rising songwriter Matt Maeson on a new version of his 2018 song “Hallucinogenics.”
