Adele will make a rare public appearance this week when she hosts Saturday Night Live for the first time. The British singer will take over the show on October 24 alongside musical guest H.E.R.
Speaking about her hosting debut, Adele wrote on Instagram: "I’ve always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right. But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump head first into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best it’s 2020 right?"
Adele's most recent album, 25, was released in 2015. She has appeared as the SNL musical guest twice before, first in 2008 (with host Josh Brolin) and again in 2015 when Matthew McConaughey hosted.
