H.E.R. took the stage on this past week's episode of Saturday Night Live as the musical guest, showing support for the #EndSars protests in Nigeria while debuting a new song, "Hold On."

The singer-songwriter is one of many artists who have used their platform to speak out against Nigeria's Special Anti-Robbery police unit, which has lead to widespread protests and violence across Nigeria. Artists including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, WizKid, and many more have criticized the Nigerian government and condemned police brutality.
