Spotify's annual "Unwrapped" series rounding up the streaming platform's biggest artists and most popular songs is out, and Bad Bunny took the No.1 spot for most streamed artist in the world. The Puerto Rican artist was followed by Drake at No. 2, J. Balvin in third, and Juice WRLD at No. 4.
Bunny's album YHLQMDLG, released in February, was also the top streamed album globally. It beat out After Hours by The Weeknd, Post Malone's Hollywood's Bleeding, Fine Line by Harry Styles, and Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa.
No Bunny songs appeared in the top five of Spotify's most-streamed songs, however. "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd was No. 1 (even if it didn't get any Grammy nominations), with "Dance Monkey" by Tones and I and Roddy Ricch's "The Box" at No.2 and No. 3, respectively.
It's likely that Bad Bunny's streaming lead will only grow before the end of the year, thanks to the surprise release of his new album El Último Tour del Mundo last Friday.
