Next February, slowthai will share his sophomore album TYRON, but today's new song and video "Thoughts" is strictly a loosie. slowthai is eager to assume the mantle of leader in the song while being open with his recent struggle — it was only this year that he got wasted at the NME Awards and started a fight with a member of the audience. "True I got scars, but they mend" he raps over a glittering, high-tension beat. Watch the video above, shot outdoors at night in a quarantine-unfriendly group setting.
"Thoughts" will not appear on slowthai's upcoming album TYRON, out February 5. The tracklist does include the songs "NHS" and "feel away" featuring James Blake and Mount Kimbie. Skepta, A$AP Rocky, Dominc Fike, Denzel Curry, and Deb Never will alos feature across TYRON's 14 tracks.
