New York City-based music festival Governors Ball is hoping for a return in 2021, and have announced the dates of September 24-26 for this year's event, as Pitchfork points out.
The festival's FAQ page points to recent statements from health officials, which have included Dr. Anthony Fauci, who have suggested that it may be safe for live music concerts to proceed in the fall. "We’re booking an amazing lineup and making sure all suggested safety protocols are followed," the festival says. "Rest assured that safety is our first priority and we are working closely with all city and state authorities on everything."
Refunds are "absolutely" promised in the event that the festival is cancelled.
