Smino blasts off in the animated “MLK Dr” video

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and St Louis rapper Smino is celebrating with a new song and animated music video for "MLK Dr." The clip comes with creative direction from Brick & Smino and was animated by Oliver Fredericksen, and it visualizes some of Smino's lyrics in the jazzy, soulful song to humorous effect. "I just seen a martian right off Martin Luther King," Smino raps near the song's beginning, with the clip showing us a blue, three-eyed MLK Jr. And if you're curious, yes, they smoke weed together.
