Flo Milli rocks the flapper look in her “Roaring 20s” video
Rewind 100 years for the Alabama rapper’s new visuals.
Flo Milli travels back to the early 20th century for her new video. Filled with accurate details from the period, the "Roaring 20s" video begins with a theater performance of “If I Were A Rich Man" from Fiddler on the Roof," which the Alabama rapper sampled on the Kenny Beats-produced track.
Speaking about the video in a statement, Flo Milli said: "The Roaring 20s was a period in history of dramatic social and political change. Last year I was able to break through during a very difficult time for not only our country but, the world. Born in 2000, and having my breakout year in 2020, I feel like I’m living in the new age of the Roaring 20s."
"Roaring 20s" follows Flo Milli's 2020 debut mixtape Ho, why is you here?. That project made it onto The FADER's list of the best albums of 2020 and featured the singles "In The Party" and "May I." Since the release of the mixtape Flo Milli has teamed up with Big Freedia for a holiday song and enjoyed a viral TikTok hit with her $not collaboration "Mean."
