Toronto's Ruben Young shared the bright visuals to his latest single "Flower Girl" on Thursday, a psychedelic ode to free-spirited muses with plenty to teach.

The track's lush brass section, subdued drums, and hypnotic guitar all serve as the perfect backdrop for Young's soulful rasp as he namechecks Lisa Bonet, Stevie Nicks, and Joni Mitchell.

Directed by Sterling Larose and shot by Jonathan Jacobs, the clip finds Young leading viewers through a series of colorfully trippy landscapes. "We went through so many ‘pandemic-friendly’ concepts for this video, but as soon as I read Sterling’s treatment, it was a wrap. He understood the trip/dreamworld that the song created," Young explained about the video via email.
