Miller died from an accidental overdose in 2018. In 2020 his estate released the posthumous album Circles, a companion to his final album, Swimming.
Last year Madlib said he was working on finishing an unreleased collaboration with Miller. Meanwhile, in March of this year, Miller’s song "The Quest" arrived on streaming as the estate celebrated the 10-year annoversary of his 2013 album Watching Movies With the Sound Off.
