Siena Liggins and Yung Baby Tate talk filthy on “Dirty Girl”

The track is the lead single from Siena’s upcoming debut album Ms. Out Tonight

Detroit-born, Atlanta-based artist Siena Liggins wants to make the kind of relatable but infectious, guilty pleasure pop jams you can't get out of your head. After sharing four singles in 2020, the singer plans to drop her debut album with visuals for each of its 12 tracks. "I'm just making songs that I've always wanted to hear—queer, bitchy, tweetable," she explained via email. "But, it seems like I'm tapping into feelings we all share, regardless of whose DMs we slide into."

On Thursday, Siena teamed up with Yung Baby Tate for her latest single, the salacious but sparkling "Dirty Girl." The track, which serves as the first single from Siena's upcoming debut album Ms. Out Tonight, balances an industrial bassline, bright synths, and playful claps behind Siena's airy delivery. "I know you're guilty, you wanna be filthy," she sings on the hook.

The glitchy clip turns junk into fashion, finding Siena submerged in a tub full of cell phones and turning up in a repair shop surrounded by dancers before being joined by Tate. Most recently, Yung Baby Tate shared her own project, After The Rain EP, back in December.
