Kevin Abstract shares new song “SIERRA NIGHTS”

BROCKHAMPTON bandleader Kevin Abstract has returned with “SIERRA NIGHTS”, his second solo release of the year and the follow-up to this year’s $NOT and slowthai collab “SLUGGER”. A collaboration with longtime BROCKHAMPTON collaborator Ryan Beatty, the track is, per a press release, an “ode to the end of summer, capturing the feeling of the cool night air and cruising around with your friends.” True to that, it’s a woozier, more vibe-driven song than what we’ve heard from Abstract in the past; moving through a bunch of different tempos and moods, it’s the kind of immersive, multi-part epic that’s become more and more present in pop over the past few years.
