The title track from Billie Eilish's recent sophomore album Happier Than Ever is enjoying a surge of popularity on TikTok and the Billboard Hot 100, where it currently rests at No. 29. The song is a gradual embrace of a toxic relationship's failure bisected between two kinds of rock: windswept and cathartic, stadium-sized riffing. Such a sound demands a big stage, and for her performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Eilish and her brother Finneas set up on top of The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California with one drummer and a lot of strobe lights.
Prior to the performance, Eilish sat down with Kimmel for an interview and some sketches. They discussed her Grammy-winning song "No Time To Die" from the recent James Bond film, her recent documentaries Billie Eilish: The World's A Little Blurry and Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles and her bucket list, which involved cutting a fan's hair and getting kicked out of Target.
