Adele is gearing up to release her new album 30 this week and, as well as potentially causing a strain on the vinyl supply chain, it looks pretty certain that she'll be doing the same for anyone looking to get hold of tissues in the coming days. On Wednesday she casually dropped a live rendition of 30 track “To Be Loved” recorded in her living room and shared on Instagram. You can check it out above.
In a recent interview with Oprah, as part of her recent One Night Only special, Adele confirmed that "To Be Loved" was one of the new songs she played for her dad shortly before he passed away earlier this year. The song, like many on 30, deals with Adele's divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki and includes the lyric: “Let it be known that I will choose to lose/It’s a sacrifice, but I can’t live a lie/Let it be known, let it be known that I tried.”
"Easy On Me" was the first song Adele released from 30. Other song titles confirmed to appear on the album include "Strangers By Nature" and "I Drink Wine."
