Donald Glover's hit FX show Atlanta will come to an end after its fourth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. FX CEO John Landgraf revealed the news on Thursday during the winter press tour for the Television Critics Association.
The show's upcoming third season is set to premiere on March 24 with the final season airing this fall. Both seasons were originally set to air in 2021 before the coronavirus pandemic forced a delay in filming. Glover shared the first trailer for the third season in November 2021, roughly three years after Atlanta's second season first aired.
In February 20021, Glover left his FX deal in favor of an eight-figure contract with Amazon. His current projects for the company include a reboot of Mr. and Mrs. Smith (a collaboration with Phoebe Waller-Bridge before the Fleabag creator dropped out) and Hive, a music series featuring Malia Obama in the show's writer's room.
