Chaz Bear is prepping the release of MAHAL, the indie singer-songwriter's seventh album as Toro y Moi. The project was announced in January with two songs, "Postman" and "Magazine," the former of which was charged with Electric Company-ified funk music. His new single "The Loop" keeps the groove alive at a placid pace, evoking the colors of a sunset instead of a dazzling strip at midnight.
In the song's music video, streaming above, Chaz and his friends (including Eyedress) take a wide-angled tour of the Bay Area in cute little vehicles, skating and enjoying some dinner.
