The fifth album from Kae Tempest The Line Is A Curve, out April 8, will be the most collaboration-heavy project yet from the London spoken word musician. The album was announced with "More Pressure" featuring Kevin Abstract of BROCKHAMPTON, and it's just-released second single "No Prizes" contains some lovely vocals from Lianne La Havas, the soul songwriter who dropped her self-titled third project in 2020.
"No Prizes" is a reflective track about keeping one's eyes not on the concluding reward, but the journey. That's no easy feat when met with various challenges both interior and exterior, and the song's acknowledgment of them makes the swelling hope it elicits feel that much richer.

“Made a song with my good friend and mind-blowing artist Lianne La Havas," Tempest said in a press statement. "So grateful for her voice in the world and on this record. A portrait of three people getting on with getting on. I just got to keep climbing.”
The Line Is A Curve will also feature collaborations from Grian Chatten of Fontaines D.C., ássia, and Confucius MC.
