A documentary about Lizzo is coming to HBO Max this upcoming fall, Deadline reports. The documentary is currently untitled, but it will be directed by Doug Pray (The Defiant Ones, Hype!, Art & Copy). There is no specific release date set for the documentary at this time.
In April, Lizzo returned with "About Damn Time," her first new song since 2021's Cardi B-featuring "Rumors," and announced that her new album Special would come out on July 15. She performed the song on Saturday Night Live a few days later while pulling double-duty as host and musical guest. Lizzo also duetted a pair of songs with Harry Styles during Coachella's second weekend. Later this year, she'll go on a 25-date North American tour supported by Latto.
