Phoebe Bridgers has released a video for her latest single, "Sidelines." The song features in the TV adaptation of Sally Rooney novel Coversations with Friends and received a separate video last month largely comprising clips from the Hulu show. This second video focuses more on Bridgers, showing her life on the road with scenes featuring her bandmates shot backstage and post-show celebrations.
Bridgers is currently on a lengthy international tour that that spans North America and Europe. In April, she performed "Sidelines" at her Coachella debut and brought out Arlo Parks.
Last month, meanwhile, Bridgers shared her abortion story and urged her supporters to donate to pro-choice organizations after the leak of a Supreme Court decision that would overturn Roe v. Wade if enacted. She also pledged that a dollar from each ticket sold would go toward the Mariposa Fund, an abortion provider for undocumented people.
Additionally, Bridgers joined Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Ariana Grande, and more in backing Planned Parenthood's #BansOffOurBodies campaign by signing onto a full-page ad condemning the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion that appeared in the New York Times.
