The Wendy Williams Show is coming to an end. The daytime talk show will conclude with a special finale episode on Friday, June 13, bringing its 13th season to a close. Williams will reportedly not appear on the show's conclusion; she has not hosted the most recent season at all due to health issues.
In a statement shared with Deadline, a show spokesperson said that the last-ever episode would pay homage to Williams. “The final original episode of The Wendy Williams Show will air on Friday, June 17, with a video tribute to the iconic host. The series comes to an end after 13 successful years in syndication.”
Premiering in 2008, The Wendy Williams Show quickly proved a ratings success and garnered a passionate and loyal fanbase. A new talk show hosted by Sherri Shepherd will debut in Williams' timeslot for the 2022-23 season.
