Steve Lacy shares new song, confirms Gemini Rights release date

Steve Lacy has shared new song "Bad Habit," a bittersweet track on which Lacy laments not shooting his shot with a potential partner. "I bite my tongue, it's a bad habit," he sings on the chorus. "Kinda mad that I didn't take a stab at it." Check out the song below.

"Bad Habit" will appear on Lacy's new album Gemini Rights, which now has a confirmed release date of July 15. The album was first announced earlier this month alongside lead single "Mercury."

Gemini Rights is the second studio album from the guitarist and co-producer for The Internet and arrives after 2019's Apollo XXI as well as production work for Blood Orange, Solange, Mac Miller, and Kali Uchis. Earlier this year he worked alongside Ravyn Lenae on her album Hypnos.
