Burna Boy parties in the “It’s Plenty” video
Love, Damini is out now.
Burna Boy has good reason to celebrate. The Nigerian Afrobeat sensation's sixth studio album Love, Damini is a huge success with its lead single, the Toni Braxton-sampling "Last Last," leading the way. Another track called "It's Plenty" has been picking up steam on TikTok, so Burna is keeping the party going with a set of visuals for the tune.
The video captures footage at Burna Boy's world tour. There are no club shows here: Dates in stadiums, fields, and other massive venues are the focus. There are also appearances at Notting Hill Carnival in the United Kingdom (look out for the guy dressed up like Where's Waldo), in a barbershop with lots of what appears to be a Burna Boy-branded beverage on hand and, of course, inside of a private jet. Wherever Burna is, smiles and dances aren't far behind, and you'd have to be trying pretty hard not to get swept up in the good vibes.
Prior to the release of Love, Damini, Burna Boy released a couple of one-off singles. He delivered a Polo G collaboration called "Want It All," and the solo track "Question." He also teamed up with Wizkid on "B D'Or" and with Angélique Kidjo – who beat Burna's project African Giant for the 2020 Best Global Music Album with Celia – on the song "Do Yourself." In June he co-headlined Afropunk 2022 in Brooklyn with The Roots.
