Taylor Swift shares Cinderella-esque “Bejeweled” video and teases upcoming tour plans
The “Bejeweled” video features cameos from Laura Dern and HAIM.
Taylor Swift has shared the official video for her Midnights song "Bejeweled." The self-directed visual is Swift's take on Cinderella involving a talent contest in place of a glass slipper narrative. Hollywood actress Laura Dern as Swift's stepmom and the members of HAIM as her stepsisters. Midnights producer Jack Antanoff also makes a cameo appearance alongside Dita Von Teese and make-up mogul Pat McGrath.
While on the talk show Swift also teased a potential tour in support of Midnights. While not going as far as announcing anything official, Swift told Fallon "I think I should do it. When it’s time, we’ll do it. I miss it." Check out clips from her interview below.
Swift dropped Midnights, her tenth studio album, on October 21. She followed it up with seven additional songs, a collection she is dubbing "3am tracks." "Bejeweled" is the second in a series of self-directed videos from Midnights after "Anti-Hero."
Midnights was first announced by Swift when she was accepting the Video of the Year prize at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. It follows her pandemic-era albums Folklore and Evermore. Lana Del Rey appears on one track, "Snow On The Beach," while credited writers on the album include actors Zoë Kravitz and Joe Alwyn.
