Grammy-nominated jazz duo Domi & JD Beck were joined by Mac DeMarco as they performed on The Tonight Show on Thursday. The indie rock frontman got in front of the cameras to play "Two Shrimps," which appears on Domi & JD Beck's 2022 album Not Tight. Check out their performance above.
Not Tight was released this summer via Anderson .Paak's APESHIT, Inc label. .Paak appears on two tracks on the record, with Thundercat, Snoop Dogg, and Herbie Hancock also among the contributors. Domi & JD Beck are nominated for Best New Artist and Best Contemporary Instrumental Album at next year's Grammy Awards.
This year Mac DeMarco has shared a collaboration with Snail Mail and contributed a song to an album raising funds for abortion rights campaigners. His most recent album, Here Comes the Cowboy, was released in 2019.
