Pusha T says he is no longer working with Kanye West
The rapper tells XXL he is “not tied with G.O.O.D. Music anymore in any way.”
Pusha T has said in a new interview that he is no longer president of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label nor is he on speaking terms with him.
Pusha T, whose latest album, It’s Almost Dry dropped on the label earlier this year, was asked by XXL if he is still working with Ye following his recent string of antisemitic remarks. In response Pusha T said “No, I’m not,” Later adding that he is “not tied with G.O.O.D. Music anymore in any way.”
Ye and Pusha T have worked together as president and owner of G.O.O.D. Music since 2015. Elaborating on the breakdown in their relationship, Pusha T told XXL that “He’s not speaking to me now,”
Referring to the hate speech Ye has repeated across various channels in recent months, he added:.“If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it. I heard about this new stuff [on InfoWars]. I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it.”
