Lana Del Rey delays new album, confirms Father John Misty, Tommy Genesis collaborations
Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is due in late March.
Lana Del Rey has revealed new details of her upcoming album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd as well as changing its release date. The album, Del Rey's ninth, has been pushed back two weeks and will now come out on March 24. The news, via Pitchfork and Consequence, was shared on Del Rey's private Instagram account. The singer shared the update alongside a collection of variant album covers, one of which was removed for breaking Instagram's nudity policy.
In addition to sharing the artwork and release date, Del Rey also confirmed the album tracklist. Collaborations on the record include Father John Misty, who appears on "Let The Light In," Tommy Genesis, Jon Batiste, and producer Jack Antonoff.
Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd was first announced last year alongside the album title track. Del Rey later promoted the album with a single bilboard, tactically placed in the hometown of her ex-boyfriend.
