The Houston Astros’ locker room soundtrack is Travis Scott’s next album
Scott told reporters the album is “on the way” after previewing it for the MLB side on Monday.
Travis Scott hasn't released an album since 2018's Astroworld but that might be about to change soon. During a recent trip to see the Houston Astros play, Scott dropped in on the team and played some new music for them and their players. A clip from Minute Maid Park has been shared online in which Scott tells FOX 26 Houston Sports Director Mark Berman that he had just been in the locker room. "It’s on the way now, Mark," he said in relation to the album before adding it just needs to be mastered before it's ready.
Scott has been teasing a new album, potentially titled Utopia, since 2021. However, the tragedy at Scott's Astroworld Festival delayed the release of the record. In a recent interview with Billboard, Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone said the album is "expected to come in June." Scott is scheduled to headline Rolling Loud in Miami this July.
