Olivia Rodrigo promises her second album is “so close to being done”
The pop star gave an update in an Instagram post celebrating the two-year anniversary of her debut album Sour.
Yesterday (May 21), Olivia Rodrigo celebrated the two-year anniversary of her debut album Sour with some news: her second record is almost complete. "[N]o words could ever describe how much [Sour] means to me and how insanely grateful I feel for every blessing it has brought into my life," she writes on Instagram. "[T]he new stuff is so so so so so close to being done I pinky promise 💓[.]"
Sour won a GRAMMY for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2022 and was nominated for Album of the Year, but lost to Jon Batiste's We Are. Rodrigo did, however, win Best New Artist the same year, beating out names like Arlo Parks, FINNEAS, Baby Keem, and Glass Animals.
