Tove Lo has released a new song called ”I like u” along with a music video. The pop star is in the midst of her “Dirt Femme” tour, named after her recent album of the same name, and debuted the new song live during a recent performance.
“I’ma tell you the truth now / ’Cause I’m too high to lie / I wish I was your girlfriend / Is she with you tonight?,” she begins, describing a love-at-first-sight situation. As she continues to see her romantic interest around, her feelings grow, and she decides she’ll fight for him even though she knows it’s wrong.
