Young Thug shares new album Business Is Business
Drake, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, and more appear on the project, released as the rapper remains imprisoned on RICO charges.
Young Thug‘s new album Business Is Business is out now. The project was officially announced yesterday (June 22) with the cover art, though Thug teased it the previous week with a QR code that led to this site (prior to today, the site was a countdown to June 22 at midnight). Features across the 15 tracks of Business Is Business include Drake, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Future, and Lil Uzi Vert.
Business Is Business is the first full-length project from Young Thug since his 2022 arrest in the RICO indictment against his label YSL. Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis alleges that the group is a gang responsible for crimes across the state. He faces eight felonies, including gun and drug charges; each count carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
Last week saw the release of a Gift & a Curse, a new album from Gunna, another YSL rapper who was swept up in the RICO indictment. He was released from prison in December after accepting a plea deal, a move that was widely criticized in the rap community as evidence of collaboration with authorities, allegations that Gunna has denied.
