Kieran Hebden and William Tyler collab on a new A-B single
Bad-vibes house jam “Darkness, Darkness” and ambient comedown “No Services” are the newest entries in Psychic Hotline’s singles series.
Composer William Tyler and Four Tet's Kieran Hebden (you may know him as the bestie of Skrillex and Fred Again...) have teamed up on a new A-B single for Sylvan Esso's record label. “Darkness, Darkness” b/w “No Services" is the latest entry in Psychic Hotline's singles series, and is available both to stream and as a vinyl 12-inch.
The previously released "Darkness, Darkness" builds from an ominous soundscape to a bad-vibes house jam built around a sample from the Gloria Loring song of the same name. "No Services," on the other hand, stays beatless for its entire duration, making for a fitting — but equally captivating — comedown. Listen to both tracks below.
