The July 28 event will be livestreamed for fans, too.

Travis Scott has announced details of a livestreamed performance direct from the ancient Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. The July 28 performance will act as a reveal for "the world of Utopia," the rapper's upcoming studio album. Tickets are available now.

Details of the album, including a release date, remain TBC. However, the project can be pre-ordered now. The album is available on CD and vinyl, as well as part of a merch bundle featuring new items of apparel. The album will be released with five different cover artworks, none of which are available at the time of publication.

Scott has been teasing Utopia, the follow-up to his 2018 album Astroworld, for many months. Most recently he rolled out a series of billboards that led fans to a website teasing further information about the release.

Last month it was confirmed that Scott will not face criminal charges in the trial of the Astroworld disaster. A Texas grand jury cleared Scott and the Astroworld 2021’s other organizers of criminal wrongdoing surrounding the crowd crush that killed 10 people at the festival.
