Noname shares Sundial release date and tracklist
The project is out on August 11.
Noname has confirmed the release of her third full-length project Sundial, sharing its tracklist and release date of August 11. Featured across the album are features from billy woods, $ilkmoney, Common, Ayoni, Eryn Allen Kane, and more. The follow-up to 2018's Room 25, Sundial was initially tabled for a July release.
Last week, Noname threatened to shelve Sundial after fan backlash due to Jay Electronica's presence on the song "Balloons" — Electronica has a history of support for the Nation of Islam, an organization led by the outspokenly antisemitic Louis Farrakhan. She quickly walked back that statement, and with the release of the tracklist today, it seems that the album really is on the way. "Balloons," however, will no longer be released as an advance single, Noname said in an Instagram post. Scroll down to see the IG reveal and tracklist.
