Charlotte Day Wilson drops “Forever,” a song about indecision featuring Snoh Aalegra
Listen to a new collaboration between the two vocalists.
Charlotte Day Wilson has shared a new single titled "Forever." The track is a collaboration with Swedish R&B singer Snoh Aalegra and finds the pair trading verses over stripped-back piano and drums. Together they talk about romantic hesitation, singing "I'm livin' lost in love 'cause I changе my mind too much."
"Forever" is described in press materials as being "tethered loosely to a warped interpolation of The Foundations’ 'Baby, Now That I Found You.'" Check it out below.
The new track is Toronto-based Day Wilson's first solo material since her 2021 debut album, ALPHA. It is also her first release in her new label, XL Recordings.
Shortly after the release of ALPHA, Drake sampled Day Wilson's "Mountains" on his Certified Lover Boy song "Fair Trade." More recently, she has contributed to the latest albums by U.K. artists SG Lewis and Lil Silva.
