Usher will be the headline performer at the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show. The NFL's biggest game of the season takes place on February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. Usher's appearance was confirmed on Sunday, September 24, with the help of Kim Kardashian, Marshawn Lynch, and more.
The same day he performs at the Super Bowl, Usher will release a new album titled Coming Home. The album will include the singles “Good Good” featuring 21 Savage and Summer Walker and "Boyfriend," which made headlines recently after Keke Palmer starred in the song's video.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Usher said the Super Bowl had been on his bucket list for a long time. He said: "I’ve been asked many a times, ‘What are the benchmarks or what are the things that matter most to you?’ Obviously performing, but being able to perform on that stage because so many amazing performers have graced it and did an amazing job. Of course the obsession of that starts, but man, the excitement of this moment and being able to savor this moment. You remember the first time you heard your record on the radio. This is like that for me.”
Rihanna performed at the 2023 Super Bowl, taking to the stage for a rare live appearance and revealing her pregnancy at the same time.
