In their Ebro interview, both Meek and Ross were in bullish form as they talked up their collaboration. "We won already," Ross said. "We playing with what? The house's money and it's only one way to explain that or describe that. It's too good to be true, which is the name of the project me."
Meek, meanwhile, took the time to shout out his collaborator, saying: "When me and Rozay got in the studio, it was all about real energy, organic motivation. This Rozay, I'm rapping next to too. This Rozay is top five dead or alive right now. I don't know who want to argue with that."
Rick Ross and Meek Mill have regularly appeared on each other's songs over the years, including on "Believe It," "So Sophisticated," and "Ima Boss." Ross's most recent solo album, Richer Than I Ever Been, was released in 2021. Meek Mill shared Expensive Pain the same year and released his Flamerz 5 mixtape a year later.
