The Bear renewed for third season
The new episodes will arrive sometime in 2024 on Hulu via FX.
The Bear has been approved for a third season, Deadline and Variety report. Like the celebrated kitchen drama’s first two chapters, the new season will air exclusively on Hulu via FX. New episodes will arrive sometime in 2024 — presumably later in the year, given the announcement’s timing, its lack of specificity, and the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
The series was created by Christopher Storer and stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, and Matty Matheson. Its first season premiered in June 2022, and its second season arrived in June of this year.
“The Bear, which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon,” wrote Nick Grad, president of FX, in a press release. “We’re so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of The Bear.”
