Taylor Swift’s record-breaking concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, will be available to rent and download from December 13. The date coincides with Swift's 34th birthday.
The extended version of the movie, which opened in theaters in October, will include previously unseen footage of "Wildest Dreams," "The Archer," and "Long Live" that didn't make it into the original cut.
In a message announcing the VOD release to fans, Swift wrote: "Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home! Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live” will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13 🫶💋"
Tragedy struck the Eras Tour earlier this month when a fan attending Swift's show in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil died. 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides suffered a cardiac arrest inside the Nilton Santos stadium where a heat wave had raised temperatures to dangerously high levels.
