Drake has announced plans for an Australian tour, due to begin the same day Kendrick Lamar headlines the Super Bowl half-time show.
News of the tour came as Drake joined Canadian streamer xQc on a livestream on Sunday night (November 24). He confirmed the Anita Max Wynn tour will bring him back to Australia for the first time in eight years.
“February 9, for anyone that’s watching from Australia – I’m coming back to Australia for the first time in eight years," Drake said. "I’m coming back to Australia, on tour. Funny enough, it’s called the Anita Max Wynn tour.”

Of course, February 9 is also the date of the Super Bowl LIX. This year's event is due to take place in New Orleans, Louisiana and will be headlined by Kendrick Lamar. Perhaps it is unsurprising Drake doesn't want to be in the country on that date.
"Anita Max Wynn" is an alter-ego Drake has used while gambling, with the name bearing a striking resembalnce to "I need a max win."
Elsewhere on the xQc stream, Drake confirmed work is continuing on an album he is making with PARTNEXTDOOR. The rapper said he thinks the project is about 75% complete and sounding "incredible."
