Billboard reports that "multiple sources" have confirmed that OutKast are "in talks" to perform at next year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Billboard's sources think the pair will kick off their reunion in Indio next April, and continue performing together at festivals through the summer. Neither OutKast's label, Epic, nor Coachella's organizer confirmed the reports.
An OutKast reunion has been ever-hope for but never entirely promised. “As of now, there are no plans for another OutKast album," André 3000 told GQ last year. Big Boi, on the other hand, told LA's Power 106 in January that he and André were "discussing some things" for the anniversary of the duo's debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. In October, OutKast collaborator Sleepy Brown told an interviewer, “We got the 20th anniversary of OutKast coming next year...it's coming together now.”
