A Voltron of young, playful Atlanta rappers forms on Lobby Runners, the new collaborative tape from Peewee Longway, Young Thug, Migos and Rich the Kid. Half of the expansive tape's 25 tracks are new; the other half spotlights noteworthy loosies from the past year, including post-Brick Squad Young Thug singles "Stoner" and "Danny Glover." Friends of the core crew, like Jose Guapo, Johnny Cinco, Rich Homie Quan, Young Dolph, and Chinx Drugz, also appear, and what's most exciting is the obvious camaraderie among contributors. Longway and Young Thug's chemistry is undeniable and Migos seem recharged when shaken out of their routine, especially on their collaboration with Thugger, "YRN," which sounds like the long-lost Mario Kart stage that races through the bando. 2013 was massive for Migos and Young Thug; here's hoping this project helps shine a much deserved spotlight on Longway, who had a strong year without as many prominent accolades.
