Solange has announced A Seat At The Table, her third album and follow-up to 2012's True EP, will be released on Friday September 30. Devonte Hynes a.k.a. Blood Orange, Sampha, Sean Nicholas Savage, The Dream, Q-Tip, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Tweet are among the featured performers.
In a press release, Solange called the album "a project on identity, empowerment, independence, grief and healing."
Last Wednesday, Solange launched a new website. A caption on an Instagram post read "86 of you will receive a seat at the table in the mail.....first come....first served...." These fans were sent a book of poetry and photos, also called A Space At The Table. You can grab a digital copy here.
