Soulquarius 2017, a new festival, is set for February 18 at the Observatory Grounds in Orange County. Billed as an "R&B" jam, the event applies the term liberally, pulling together a stacked lineup that touches on every era of the last 25 years in the genre.
Headlining the event are Erykah Badu and R. Kelly, the latter of which will still probably inspire some controversy given his "stomach-churning" track record.
Still though, it's an impressive lineup, pairing representatives from R&B's next generation, including The Internet and Willow Smith alongside a massive collection of '90s and '00s innovators like Ja Rule and Ashanti, DMX, Brandy, Monica, The-Dream, Mya, and more.
