Rick Ross spoke with The FADER about his love of remixes last year. "I listen to records, I like records," he explained. "A lot of these records I just felt the streets would love to hear me on them as well… They're usually songs that I think are dope. Songs that my homies, when we're in their playing the standup Madden arcade game, they say, 'Aye, that shit be bumpin' right there.' And I say, 'Pull it up!'"
Ross stopped finding as many songs to remix after the release of his Black Market album, but the arrival of The Life Of Pablo has inspired him once again: he recently added his own verse to Kanye West's "Famous." At one point in the new version, Ross yells, I'm half naked in the GQ magazine!
The rapper also shared a photo with Kanye on Instagram. "That time Ye let me keep a No ID beat he played me," Ross wrote. "I later titled it 'tears of joy'. #biggest." "Tears Of Joy" appeared on the MC's Teflon Don album.
