The rapper pays tribute to the previous generation.
2016 continues to be a big year for Kendrick Lamar. So far the rapper has already received the key to the city of Compton and taken home a slew of Grammys. News broke today that the MC will also help induct N.W.A. into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later this year.
Kendrick praised N.W.A. last summer. "As one of your offspring," he noted, "anything I do comes from what y'all have done before me."
The induction ceremony takes place April 8 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It will air April 30 on HBO.
