B.o.B Bends His Mind In “Excuse Me”
Hear him out.
Today rap game flat earth advocate B.o.B has offered up a montage-style visual for "Excuse Me," a track off his January mixtape FIRE (False Idols Ruined Egos). The song is a somber, spoken word meditation that finds B.o.B spinning such mind-bending yarns as: We live in a state of confusion/ I hear what they say on the news/ They usually just laying a blueprint/ Used to create a delusion. Meanwhile the video features a ballerina pirouetting in front of inter-spliced footage of spinning roulette wheels, science labs, newsreel, football games, religious rituals, and so on and so forth.
"I hope," B.o.B told The FADER, "that this song is as therapeutic for you as it is for me."
