The Houston Texans protested during the national anthem in response to team owner’s comments
They received a standing ovation.
After the owner of the NFL team the Houston Texans, Bob McNair, compared players who want to protest to prison inmates, even JAY-Z responded to the comments. When the players took to the field for a Sunday night game against the Seattle Seahawks, nearly all of the players kneeled during the national anthem. You can watch the video above.
Bob McNair later walked his comments back, expressing "deep regret."
