Taylor Swift announced on Instagram that she will be headlining the Glastonbury Music Festival in 2020, according to Billboard. The singer follows a long line of acts that have headlined the iconic festival, which counted Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Stormzy, the Killers, and the Cure among its headliners in 2019.
The singer shared a photo of herself holding a sheet that reads "Sunday Night Taylor Made for Glastonbury" to make her announcement. She joins Paul McCartney who is also set to headline the festival. "I’m ecstatic to tell you that I’ll be headlining Glastonbury on its 50th anniversary," she wrote in the post's caption. The festival, which takes place from June 24-28, will see Swift take the stage on the festival's final day.
Most recently, the singer was named Billboard's Woman of the Decade and was honored at the 2019 Women in Music Awards earlier this week.
