Jack Harlow has kept his solo recordings close to the chest since dropping That's What They All Say, his certified-platinum debut studio LP, in December 2020. Today, he shared "Nail Tech," his first single since that record's release, along with a music video co-directed by Frank Borin, Ace Pro, and Harlow himself.
The Louisville rapper joined Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe on his New Music Daily podcast today to discuss the single. Among other revelations, Harlow told Lowe he was in "total work mode" and that a new album is "getting close."
"I think everybody will understand once I give them this new work," he said. "I feel like I haven't had a chance to lay on the world just how passionate and how studious I am and just how capable I am. So I think my new music will let people know just how locked in I am."
